This was another training hike on the Mesa Trail near Boulder. The Boulder area is nice in that you can get both alot of elevation gain and miles while staying at lower elevation. The downside is that Boulder is quite careful to close trails when then are muddy and to close entire areas for bird nesting and other environmental reasons, so you have to pick the right day. No pictures.
